Membership Procedure/Criteria
All 4WD enthusiasts are encouraged to apply for and become a member of the club. Membership forms are available on our website, and this form shall be filled out interactively on the website. All fields on the interactive form MUST be filled out including recent photographs of yourself and your vehicle. An automated email is sent to the applicant once the form has been received.
A two stage process shall be followed to review and process the application forms for membership.
STAGE 1
The following basic information/documents are required to ascertain the eligibility of the applicant for processing of the application:
1.1 Minimum age shall be 22 years.
1.2 Shall own an operational 4-wheel drive vehicle, preferably a 1980 or later model.
1.3 Shall possess a valid Pakistani driver’s license.
1.4 Provide a recent photo of applicant and vehicle.
1.5 Possess a National Identity Card.
1.6 Posses a valid email address & be proficient with the use of the internet to be able to communicate with the Club via email and website forums etc.
STAGE 2
After receiving the application and if it fulfills the basic criteria the following procedure shall be followed by the three-member Coordination Committee to process the membership application while considering the general reputation, inter-personal behavior, team spirit and cross references of the applicant:
2.1 The Coordination Committee shall have the right to obtain any other pertinent information from the applicant, if deemed necessary.
2.2 An applicant may be invited for an interview by the Coordination Committee.
2.3 The decision shall be reached by majority vote to accept or reject the application by the Coordination Committee.
2.4 Decision to Accept/Reject/Invite for interview will be conveyed to the applicant via email.
2.5 Once accepted, the applicant must deposit a copy of his/her NIC & Drivers license with Club Treasurer/Secretary along-with a joining fee of Rs. 2,000.00 & yearly membership fee of Rs. 1,000.00
2.6 After successful completion of all above steps, a username and password will be issued by the webmaster and the applicant will be inducted into the club as a formal member. Appearance at next scheduled monthly meeting will be mandatory for introductions.
